Watch the above sizzle that I produced and directed for The Martin Agency. The asset is used in significant business dealings including the agency homepage, upfront in most agency new business pitches and external agency brand presentations.

developing the agency’s brand.

I helped position Martin as a globally-capable creative agency via powerful PR ideas, words, branded content and social strategy.

Creating the Martin Agency’s new website.

Two years back, then Chief Creative Officer and now CEO, Danny Robinson, trusted me to design and develop the new Martin Agency website. Then, the project blossomed into a full-time role to strategically determine how to show up across all of our owned platforms.

Coordinating across platforms.

I’ve also managed cross-platform brand design elements, like cover photos and more. With branding, even little things matter. Almost like matching your belt with your shoes.

Making AdAge’s A-List.

We won 2023 Ad Age Agency of the Year
reflecting the strength of the portfolio design, framework and digital brand. Then, in 2024, we placed in the Top 5 — again!

I produced an animated social announcement encapsulating all of the “inside-isms,” people and moments that are memorable to us as agency employees to celebrate our top 5 on AdAge’s 2024 A-List, with creative by Martin AD Brittany Lazaroff, CD Graham Davis and designer Cleo Peng.

We even created a special page with everyone’s name on it that contributed to the win, too!

Animation by Lyly Nguyen at SuperJoy.

The animation I produced for the announcement was produced in roughly 2 weeks, from concept briefing to final approval.

We also chopped up polaroids for individuals to select a piece of the larger canvas that resonated or represented their individual yet collective experience to post on their own social channels. Stephen Henderson was the mastermind behind the slices.

Placing on Fast Company’s Most Innovative list, twice.

In 2023, we first placed #6 on Fast Company’s Most Innovative in advertising, just behind Wieden+Kennedy and Ogilvy. Then, we moved up the list to #4, beating out Coca-Cola, Wieden+Kennedy, Nike, Mischief and Ogilvy.

Under the supervision of Chief Creative Officer Jerry Hoak, I produced and directed a short spot to promote our second consecutive Fast Company Most Innovative Companies win! The creative concept was to unveil our employee-designed clothing line to the public eye, and sew on a special Fast Company patch too. Design viz is by Stephen Henderson with animation by Jay Purrington. Modeled by our very own Martin employees.

A tasteful system for awards

Featuring wins is important for an agency. I presented an easy system for us to announce award shortlists and wins that is now standard. Rarely, I call myself a designer. But I did design this.
